MORE EDUCATED PEOPLE SHOULD VIE FOR SENATORIAL POSITIONS.

The baseline requirement for election into the senate is a secondary school leavers certificate. This has admitted all manner of people into the law making organ of government.Then what sort of laws would they be enacting?


Maybe the requirement should be a graduate Certificate or even a masters degree so that educated people and enlightened people can make suitable laws that would govern society.
So that cases where senators are marrying 13year olds would be a thing of the past. And cases where senators are pushing to legalize bigamy would cease to exist.

The law making arm of government should boast of the finest people in society, men who have distinguished themselves, men with outstanding achievements in different fields of human endeavour.

Then society can mirror and reflect the ideals of these men.
