We have such a situation right now in Nigerian movies where sex is no more implied but acted out. Sex scenes are becoming the order of the day.
While we were growing up, we were trained with morals and told the consequences of making mistakes. Now the message is different; we are being told to become "freaks in the sheet".

There is a sexual revolution in the Nigerian entertainment scene so much so that music videos and home videos are filled with revolting scenes. They say they want to be like Americans and that if Americans can do it why can't they do it? I'm sure they like what the American society has turned out to be; increase in teenage pregnancies, abuse of drugs, high rate of suicide and generally high rate of unhappiness. The American entertainment industry had a sexual revolution in the 90's.
Sex sells they say. And many of them are smiling to the banks with their newly made fortune but look at the effect on society.
Sooner or later they would realize that fame and fortune gotten that way cannot guarantee happiness. If it could why are American screen stars committing suicide and turning to drugs?

The effect can already be seen in the high rate of divorce in society and they wonder why their marriages are crashing. There are other movie industries in the world and even movies coming from America where sex is given its rightful place.
What is wrong if our movies and music videos are known for cleanliness just like it is with India then we can also export morality to the rest of the world.
