China is the most populous country in the world with the population estimation of over 1.38 billion people, unlike Nigeria; Chinese population is a great advantage to her economic stability because the government has been able to use her population strength for the nation’s industrialization. The foundation of Chinese prosperity started with the revolution of 1911-12 which overthrew the decadent Manchu dynasty. This growth was further restructured, consolidated and entrenched with Communists victory in 1949. The Chinese prosperity through the Communists party was one of the major contributions of Mao Tse-tung to the Chinese development and no doubt his thought is the prevailing philosophy of the new China that have altered the balance of power in contemporary international relations.

There are talks on granting amnesty to perpetrators of terrorism in Nigeria if caught and if eventually defeated. We must classify terrorism as murder and as mass murder. The penalty for murder is life imprisonment or the death sentence. And I can say it will be a fitting penalty for Boko Haram members after all the anguish they've unleashed on Nigerians.

Been busy this week. Hoping from bank to phone shop and what have you. And I got it slapped in my face in every business entity i was in that Nigerian businesses need to take customer service very seriously.

THE AFRICAN MENTALITY- In Nigeria especially from where I come from, it is a taboo to have only female children. A woman who has only girl children has not sealed her place in her husband's home. Instead of thanking God for giving him children, an african man would rather gripe and complain forgetting that there are people who do not have children at all. Women are blamed for giving birth to only female children and some husbands would gladly break the home than accept only girl children .

I know of a woman who has six children. The entire family live in a one room apartment. This is a common scenario especially in Lagos where a large number of families live in or squat in one room apartments or shelters. The grieving thing about this is that these families are on the average comprised of eight members with all of them sharing one room.

I choose to believe in myself because I am a pool of talents being harnessed by God to bless the world and mankind. I choose to believe in myself, for only when I do, do I truly become a gift to the world.

Society is an ecosystem. Everyone cannot be doing the same thing. Having said that, I will go ahead to say this; personal wellness can be defined as;

 A look at the society  today reveals the inherent weakness found in today’s youth. In a country filled with problems ranging from corruption to unemployment, infant mortality, polygamy, abuse, rape, wife battery, incest, underdevelopment, educational problems to name a few, one would think that the average Nigerian youth would be looking for how to solve the problems in his homeland.

Today I just want to be free, free to be myself and free to be myself aloud. By this I mean in the presence of other people. I would like to be free to share my thoughts, to express my views and to love myself. I would like to be free to praise myself, my achievements and accomplishments. To raise hope and faith in my desire to succeed at tomorrow’s goals.
