THE PENALTY FOR TERRORISTS

There are talks on granting amnesty to perpetrators of terrorism in Nigeria if caught and if eventually defeated.

We must classify terrorism as murder and as mass murder. The penalty for murder is life imprisonment or the death sentence. And I can say it will be a fitting penalty for Boko Haram members after all the anguish they've unleashed on Nigerians.

The difference between terrorism and the south south amnesty program is that Nigeria owes south south. They were agitating for a just cause(the equal sharing of resources).What is boko haram agitating for?

These boko haram members should be adequately dealt with and justice brought to those who lost their lives as a result of these.

Same thing goes for the Fulani herdsmen, the blood of innocent farmers whose property they trespassed and then murdered is crying for justice.

We should not just stop at fighting corruption, we must deal with the excesses of those who have no respect for human lives and think they can kill at anytime they will.

The End SARS Protests

I have been quiet since the end sars movement started. Not because I didn’t want to speak but because I was hoping for it to culminate into something tangible and bring about the positive change that a lot of Nigerians desired. I remember having a conversation about it with someone and I prayed that it would not spiral out of control. The powers that be would not surrender without a fight and they have the resources of the government on their side. And what is democratic about a president who has refused to listen to the cries of the people?In their short memory however, they have forgotten that this same president came into power for the first time in 1985 after a coup...
